🎉 Today VRINN attended the opening of PROTECT - Center for preparedness and crisis management at the Rena campus of Høgskolen i Innlandet today.
The center specializes in crisis management training, leveraging experienced instructors to offer realistic simulations and interdisciplinary learning across areas like psychology, technology and more. Participants receive scenario-based training, high-quality lectures, and tools for effective communication and cooperation during crises.
The training aims to develop strong leaders capable of handling emergencies, using advanced technologies like VR for immersive learning. A big shout-out to our member, Fynd Reality, who will be instrumental in supporting the PROTECT center's goals with their innovative Fynd Core platform 👏.

Last week, Jotun Group visited us at the VRINN Cluster, diving into the latest in VR and AR innovations 🚀. They experienced a CPR simulator at Making View A/S for immersive life-saving skills training and explored the VR Scenario Builder in Core at Fynd Reality to create custom virtual scenarios.
The agenda included a productive meeting with Glitch on interactive digital content, advanced training simulations with Real Training, and insights into the esports world with Hamar E-Sport Club and Hamar Game Collective. Høgskolen i Innlandet provided a scholarly perspective on VR and AR applications.
Jotun also toured the Future Classroom, highlighting VR/AR's role in education, and visited the Mocap Studio to learn about motion capture technology. The visit showcased the diverse applications of VR and AR technologies.

VRINN Immersive Learning Cluster was represented by Kristina Jocė, Keith Mellingen, who delivered a presentation and participated in a panel discussion on Leadership in cultural and creative sectors and industries. In addition, VRINN members Cathrine Bryøen representing HIDDEN with its interactive geolocated XR landscape, Kim Baumann Larsen from Viewalk – focusing on Designing Intuitive and Inspiring Immersive Spaces, and Ellen Lande Game director, filmcritic– who shared her work on Creating the Emotional Immersive Experience inspired by a famous painting and an old folk tale.
This summit also marked the conclusion of our project "Adoption of Immersive Technologies in Creating Value and Developing Sustainable Business Models in Creative Industries," initiated by Ligna Group and CreaTech Bulgaria and has been granted financial support by Innovasjon Norge Grants under the Business Development, Innovation and SMEs Programme Bulgaria. 🌿🤝
