&Action – International Media Festival 2025
On 24–25 September 2025, Levanger will host the &Action International Media Festival, bringing together film, TV, gaming, and immersive media professionals from across Norway and beyond.
This year, the festival has a clear focus on VR, AR, and immersive storytelling – showing how extended reality is becoming a natural part of the broader media industry. With contributions from Breach VR, Xvision, and several cross-disciplinary studios, the program highlights how technology and creativity merge to create new forms of storytelling and production.
Why it’s relevant for VRINN members
For the VRINN community, the festival offers exposure to immersive use cases in film, animation, and games; opportunities for collaboration with filmmakers, animators, and developers; insights into Nordic innovation in XR storytelling; and the chance to connect with students and emerging creators who represent the next generation of XR professionals.
This initiative is led by the Trondheim node of VRINN, strengthening our presence in Mid-Norway and connecting the cluster’s members with creative industries that share many of the same challenges and opportunities.
