This year marked the 8th edition of Nordic VR Forum, featuring a three-day XR conference with over 450 participants and more than 50 speakers from companies like HTC Vive , Microsoft, Meta, Unity, and Jotun. We also held the 4th edition of the VRINN Awards (the XR Nordic Awards), celebrating the regionโs top achievements in immersive tech!

Our delegation attended alongside Seatroll Museum, Innlandet Fagskolen, and Ellen Lande. VRINNโs cluster manager, Keith, and Ellen both took part in the Impulse program to mentor creators and startups. Huge congrats to Glitch Studios for winning the Best LBVR Award at the AIXR Awardsโoften called the โOscarsโ of VR!

We joined forces at the Hub Europe booth with other XR European associations and the University of South-Eastern Norway (USN). Rigmor and colleagues from USN delivered inspiring presentations on Norwayโs emerging XR expertise, while Ellen Lande attended as a participant. The event also hosted the ๐ช๐ผ๐ฟ๐ธ๐๐ต๐ผ๐ฝ ๐ผ๐ป ๐๐ต๐ฒ ๐๐๐ฟ๐ผ๐ฝ๐ฒ๐ฎ๐ป ๐๐ผ๐ฑ๐ฒ ๐ผ๐ณ ๐๐ผ๐ป๐ฑ๐๐ฐ๐, focusing on responsible and sustainable practices in Europeโs XR ecosystem.
